Christmas Wishlist 2011

I've just realized that my wishlist became more realistic than my past ones. I've learned not to demand about things because I'm not a student anymore! In a few weeks time, I might be working in a real company/business, that means earning some moolahs and spending them for my personal expenses, which doesn't sound so good (latter). I'm gonna miss having an allowance and not worrying about any expenses, especially in Christmas time :))

To tell you honestly, I already got 3 of what I put in my wishlist (thanks to Mom!) but I still want more of them :P

I'M EXCITED FOR THIS COMING CHRISTMAS!

and I don't why.

I guess it's because my December started out great and as of now, there are no bad vibes yet.

It's good to end a year with a happy thoughts and feelings.

Though I already have a "project" for this month, I already applied online last Sunday and got responses yesterday and today for interviews and exams. I still don't know if this is too early for me to have a serious job, or should I still be a freelance until the end of this year?

Manila’s finest fashion bloggers will leave their laptops at home once again to attend BLOGGERS UNITED BAZAAR (Part 2) on December 3, 2011 at Treston International College, Taguig, this coming holiday season.

It is the second installment of the first-ever Bloggers United: An Interactive Shopping Affair (link your past entry if you like), which was held last May. Due to insistent demand from readers and bloggers alike, Bloggers United (http://www.facebook.com/bloggersunitedph) team in partnership with the country’s largest online shopping website, Multiply Philippines (http://multiply.com/) have gathered Manila’s fashion bloggers to sell their pre-loved but very stylish closet pieces!

This event is the perfect opportunity for both bloggers and their adoring readers to mingle and personally interact with each other. Fun contests and exciting giveaways from sponsors and entertaining performances from bloggers (Walkie Talkies, Reese & Vica) themselves will definitely keep this event from being a dull one.

Some of the notable bloggers attending the event include Divine Lee, Laureen Uy, Kookie Buhain, Lissa Kahayaon, David Guison, Karl Leuterio, Patricia Prieto and Preview Magazine’s own Daryl and Andre Chang.

It's Been A Long Time

It's been months since I last had a hair & make-up "raket".

I was busy with our exhibit construction and the exhibit.

Had a shoot with Leah and Pat again last Friday at Terralux Studio.

It was for Leah's photography class and focuses on jewelry advertisement, I think :P

Halloween at Jak En Poy exhibit

We heard that there'll be kids trick-or-treating at our exhibit so we made it a point to dress-up as something for it. We were pretty excited about this and we actually had fun :)

No wonder why some of these kids won the Halloween costume contest at SM North (across our exhibit). They have scary and creative costumes!

I wasn't really supposed to be a pussycat that day. I wanted to be Nicki Minaj with the pink hair and tight clothes. I even memorized the rap part of the Super Bass just for it. But I woke up late that day and wasn't able to find a good outfit for it. :|

I had so many costume ideas in mind, but they turned out into nothing.

I wanted a Clown, Spongebob, Boo from Monster Inc., Wally from Where's Wally?, Hello Kitty, Dead Nun and even Snooki from Jersey Shore!

Whatever, at least I had something. :D

Claire Unabia of ANTM 10 had a couple of fashiot shoot at our exhibit last week for Manila Bulletin fashion editorial. Isn't it awesome?

Jak En Poy : Opening Night

Arrived at the Opening Night super duper late! It was almost the end of the night when we got there. Lol. We were stuck in traffic for actually more than 4 hours just to get from South to North EDSA!

Though we're mega late, we were able to eat some pasta, h'orderves and dessert.

I really love the sweets from Bizu!

Our booth! Except the fact that we have to use metal 50%-60% of our booth design, you really have to know why we came up with this!

The Porter chair! Almost everyone wanted a photo with this chair. Hehe!

Beauty Queen hair much? lol

Mom and sister came too! And yes, they loved our booth!

Chiclette. The Glam rubber booth beside ours. Very Hollywood-ish!

With glammed up friends. I only had a few photos with them since I had no much time to tour my mom and sister around and pose for pictures.

Out of the box. Fun&colorful cardboard/paper kitchen. Everytime I see this booth, it makes me crave for something sweet specifically cupcake!

Nouvelle Vie. Nature-inspired plastic dining room. This room is really nice especially their birds and lanterns accessories.

At Le Boudoir Rose. Rococo cement living area. I really love this booth especially this wall with different frames! I wanted the same with my room for like forever but I don't have lots of frames to do this.

HMUA for myself! I love how my curls turned out. They're so big!

The gown btw is my sister's. It keep dusting off some glitters every move I make! lol

Watch out for Condo Living December issue! Our exhibit will be featured!

What I wore last Thursday when we had a meeting with the new Chairman of Interior Design in CSB. I missed being in CSB especially in SDA but I feel like an alien being surrounded with that much students and stuff. It just feels weird.

I also got to check the "Architecture without Paper" exhibit in SDA and puzzled to see flatscreens on floor. Honestly, I don't really get the exhibit and didn't bother checking all of the screens. LOL

Speaking of exhibit, I'm pretty excited for PSID Advanced Class 2011 Exhibit on October. Our booth/group has to do something with steel and feather too, and I can't wait for it to be finished! We'll start construction by next week and everything will pretty much be done by next month and other events follows. EXCITED!

Happy that my sisters and friends went at the party.

A couple of sample shots of our creative shoot for the yearbook.

The theme of the shoot depends on the assigned materials we got for our Exhibit this coming October. Since we got Steel/Bakal, we decided to use accessories as representation for our assigned material. It's pretty fun and exciting, especially for my batchmates who got Putik/Clay, Rubber/Goma, etc as their material.

Btw, these are not the photos that will be on the yearbook. The real one is awesome-r! Promise.

And yes, this means I'm graduating this November! Wooooo! :D

Had a Test Shoot last Tuesday for our yearbook. Did a few formal and creative shots. The creative shots for our yearbook will depend on what material we got for our exhibit booth. We used paper as an example since it's the easiest to work with than the other material. Can't wait for the real photoshoot! I can't still think of anything for our creative shot. We got Steel/Bakal as our main material for the exhibit booth, and we should be "drowning" with that material for our creative shot. Give us ideas please! :D

True Value Painter's Select Exhibit Launching

Living Area.

We were assigned to design this area and we're happy with the outcome.

We wanted a classical contemporary style and home-y feel for the space.

We basically end up choosing those colors and furniture :)

Dining Area.

Assigned to a different group. They decided to use watermelon as their inspiration for the paint colors.

Those cupcakes looks so yummy! I wanted to get the Red Velvet but I was too shy :))

Why I love her? She has so many pretty clothes and heart-pumping shoes that girls love to have. And by following her blog, I quite noticed that she wore different shoes in every blog posts. Isn't that awesome? And I just love reading her blog and looking at her outfit photos. :)

Just looking at his blog posts, I can say that he does a lot of things, like from DJ-ing, to shooting, to having some exhibits, modelling, etc. He's part of the Ows, Tokyo? and The Panty Monsters. He's been featured in newspapers, magazines, and in other blogs including Rajo Laurel's blog.

Why I love him? He's so artistic that he can relate it in his outfits. He dresses up crazy but still looks great on everything. Imagine layers and layers of clothing with 5-heel booties, that's him! And, he's just amazing!

AIVAN. Behind the blog Aivan Magno -his own name. An Interior Design student in Philippines. Being in a design school that has no dress codes, he takes it as an advantage on looking so fab in his class. He always rocks graphic shirts and to-die-for jackets plus his Dr.Martens. He's a Style Icon in Chictopia with overflowing comments in every outfit, and also has several karma in his Lookbook.

Why I love him? We're schoolmates/coursemates/batchmates/FRIENDS in real life! Whatever you see in pictures, it is also the same in real life. He dresses up so awesome like with leather jacket and Dr.Martens, not caring about the hot weather. He's nice and we clique! I can't actually wait for our "photoshoot" that we've been planning on for several months now. Hehe!

It reminds me of candy cane so I was good to go :)

My shoes :) These lovelies are so comfy `coz it didn't give me blisters and anything even I stood the whole night. Went very well with my crazy moves! Hehe :)

I'm really looking forward for another party like this with my batchmates. I heard they're already planning on making one in February with fun water games. I hope it'll push through :)

What I wore when we fetched Papa at the Airport last Sunday. I didn't wanna look so dressed up so I just wore flipflops plus it's more comfortable walking around Duty Free with those on.

Saw Christmas Village in Duty Free and it made me more and more excited for Christmas... and hearing Christmas songs while shopping for goodies with our Papa is an awesome feeling. :)

I can't wait to taste this on our school's Berry Christmas party this December 18. My fellow batchmate got Jack Daniel's as one of our party's sponsor. Whoopee!

Boon Booze Bestfriends

It's been a while since I last saw my bestfriend. She's been so busy with her work and I am also with my school. We don't usually talk or text each other nevertheless, we still manage to cope up with whatever's happening with us. One call, that's all we need! I don't know if this also happens to you guys.. or it's just us? We only talk/see each other once every month/couple of months... but everytime we're together it feels like we were never apart for that long. It's weird. I guess that how bestfriend relationship works. Hehe!

Anyhoos, I got to hang out with her last weekend in our Restobar where we sort of celebrated her 20th birthday with our other friends. When I saw her happy and heavy, I became more excited for God's blessing in her life. And from that, everything seems to follow with boon.

And also, in 2011 I'm looking forward for my besfriend's baby, Cebu trip with sisters, cousin and boyfriend, PSID's Advance students Exhibit and my graduation! I'm dead excited for whatever's happening this month and next year! I can't even suck them all up. Hehe!

I now have bangs! :) I got them 2 weeks ago now but I'm still not used of having them. At least I got good comments from friends and family :) I'm happy that I can work this hairstyle :)

These past few days I've been wearing beanies/bonnet just because I can't tell weather it's going to rain or not. I don't wanna wear long sleeves or jacket and bring umbrella when I'm not sure of the freakin' weather. So yeah! :))

Another thing that I'm always wearing is my geek-y glasses. It's because I feel dressed-up even I'm just wearing a plain shirt and jeans to school. I'm too lazy to dress up!

Late post. Photos were taken 2 weeks ago. This was when my classmates and I went to The Podium for Baby Co Exhibit (Our practicum). Unfortunately, the exhibit was canceled and moved to October because we didn't have enough time to prepare. Boo! I hope we can still get to design that Exhibit. :)

Nothing nothing. Just sharing because I'm so bored. I feel like I have nothing to do... the fact that I still have to study for my 2 midterms exam this week and do 4 plates due next week. Busy much!

After the long wait, we finally got to move in our new rooms. Though the excitement wasn't that much, I'm still happy. :)

HELLO! I missed blogging! A lot have happened these past few weeks while I'm out of the blog world. That includes being busy with school, design plates, and more plates. Yes, at last, Basic class is finished. I'm now at my Advance class (4th year) and it feels... good - not talking about the plates that I have to work on to pass this class.

Aside from school works, I don't know what to share except these things.

It all paid off when we heard that we got the highest grade from our section. :) It was a fun working in a group especially when you have to agree with the design and furniture needed for the exhibit. I tell you, it was hard because of the differences but at least we handled it very well :)

Well, I only have a week of break from school but I think it's enough since I don't like being idle and being stuck at home and pig out because I just want to. Everytime I try to work on things, I feel so lazy and the usual, I end up doing nothing!

This is what I wore to school yesterday. Really comfy outfit minus the heels :)

The weather... it's hot. The heat, it's unbearable! From time to time, it's getting me darker, keeping me dehydrated and making me annoyed. I guess I'll be wearing more comfy clothes until the summer's over. Good thing I have my trusty shirts to lessen the burden while walking in the streets of hell.

Truly, summer's near and I just can't wait to go swimming with ze friends and fam. But I don't think I can really enjoy the heat of summer because I still have 3 subjects left before the advance class. Meaning... No summer break for me. But let's see... Maybe God has good plans for me this summer :)

Love note: This month is the Love month... What are your plans? Ze boyf and me still don't have any. Maybe we'll just have dinner out and watch movies. The usual. Nothing special... :P

Unplanned is fun

Last Saturday, my friends and I decided to hang out at our friend's house at Alabang Village because we haven't been in her place since they moved in there last year. Things turned out really really fun after we ate M&Ms and hotdogs. We talked about random stuff, made a remake of a scene from a Filipino movie entitled "Paano na kaya?" - which by the way they've seen before we went to Mafie's place -, then we brought out our eyewear and bonnet/beanie and started taking photos. We.are.vain! :P

Oh.... and we also went swimming because we were itching to swim and the pool was calling us. We don't have any swimsuit with us, good thing Mafie has a lot. Lolz

I just love Cha's beanie. I should buy one.. soon! :)

Lace and Red lipstick and Curls are love!

Because I was bored yesterday afternoon, I curled my hair, put one some make-up and dressed up with a lace top. And I tried on my red lipstick which I found in my make-up box loaded with powder blush, eyeshadow and lipsticks.

Anyways, I've been receiving mails and messages that I should post photos of me with make-up because of some random reasons. Well, I always wear make-up. It's just not too much. :P

Went to my sister's school to be MUA and to watch their play. I did almost all of the casts make-up and hair for only 2hours. The theme was sort of scary with hair, blood and wounds all over. I don't really do scary make-up but I did what I can and it turned out to be okay... Well, I think it was great! :)

The play was about the different disorders and fears we have. I actually learned many things and also enjoyed watching them. I can't stop laughing while watching my sister's gay friend act and dance while portratying a Kapre with those big cigs and smoke. Lolz. It was a fun for a Psychology related play :P

FYI: They still owe me food for doing their hair and make-up. lolz :P And, my top is see-through at the back :P

[1] My geek glasses. They don't have grade but I love wearing them when I'm working on my plates and studying. I feel like a geek. :)
[2] I always use that Nichido final powder when my face is already oily. Sometimes, baby powder is okay. Smells good :) And I use MAC powder blush no.3 or no.7 for my cheeks.
[3] Shoes that I always wear. Other shoes are still in my shoe closet. Some are used once (or twice), never been used, or just for display. Hehe! :P
[4] Some of my lace "collection".
[5] Denim shorts. I have a lot :P
[6] Really old wallet that I still use until now.

Monday, a lot have happened.

Went to school for a morning class but I left my color markers, I ended up watching my classmates do their plates. After class, I dropped by Starbucks in High Street and an online friend saw me and now she's on my messenger (See, I don't bite) :) Met up with some friends and after waiting for several minutes, we got bored and decided to hit the nearby food shop. We ended up drinking during the afternoon. Good thing the weather was pretty okay. Left my friends to help my sister pick and buy her clothes for her play. And I scored a lace top and a distressed shorts. :) :) :)

Celebrated New Year's Eve with fam, boyf and few friends. Prepared some mouth-watering foods and had some glass of wine. I had a blast that night. Playing games, piggin' out and laughing with fam and loved ones are the best!

I really feel sorry for those who lost their loved ones during the typhoons and other incidents that have happened from the past months and celebrated their Christmas and welcomed 2010 with a sad face and broken heart. I hope 2010 will be a better year for all of us and we should stay positive despite of the sufferings and chaos. Pray, and He will guide us.

I'm so happy to celebrate Christmas with my loving family.
Every Christmas in our home is like a reunion.
Playing games, gift giving, pigging out, singing our heart out,
laughing hard and just being around for each other.
It's the best!
Yet,
this is the first Christmas without our Lolo.
Last December 23rd is his death anniversary and instead of being sad,
we celebrated it because it was his first birthday on Heaven.
Wherever he is, we know that he's happy.
We just miss him so much.... :|

I waited for so long to have a blast with my closest friends.. and yes! It happened last night :) I was so happy to see Dianne and Kastela yesterday. We haven't seen each other for a month (i think) and I blame my school for that. Quarterm sucks. I've been really busy doing school stuff and my social life is slowly dying... It's exhausting!

Enough for that school thing.

Too bad I wasn't able to take pictures of what I did.

Had a long weekend because last Friday was a holiday. But it's a sucker `coz our internet connection was busted for four days. Since I was stuck at home, got nothing to do, I decided to watch some movie flicks. I got to watch 5 movies. "The Hangover" is my current most-est favorite movie and "UP" is soooooooo cuuuuute! I also got to watch "He's just not that into you" but I fell alseep half-way the movie. Hehehe. The other two are "Hanna Montana"
and "You changed my life" - a local Filipino movie. My long weekend was kind of boring but I am glad to have long hours of sleep.

And now, only one thing/thought is botherin' me.
What did I miss???

How to make a Multi-Purpose Studded Strap

Actually, this can be done in just 5mins. To be able to make this, you will need an old cloth of any color, a pair of scissors, and studs.

STEP 1. Cut the old cloth into a strip (any length & width) using the pair of scissors. See the picture above for the sample.

STEP 2. Get your studs and pin it into the strap. Be careful in pinning it `coz you might pin it in yourself. :p

Step 3. And lastly, when your done pinning the studs into your strap, you can already use it. It can be used as headband, bracelet, necklace or even a belt. :)

Voila, DONE :)
